Monday, 9/21: Students take the Unit Pre-Test on Schoology; then discuss. Then watch this one on John Smith and Jamestown and this one on the Mayflower.
Tuesday: Began reading and questions on Smith and Bradford.
Wednesday: Complete Smith and Bradford questions and reading. Then, kids compare answers; finally, share answers with the class.
Thursday: Finish informal conversation of yesterday and then Begin Anne Bradstreet poem questions working in pairs. Complete "To My Dear and Loving Husband" questions by tomorrow.
Friday: Complete the Anne Bradstreet "Upon the Burning of Our House" questions in pairs
Monday, 9/28: GD on AB. Students must participate 5 times. Students who are absent must write a formal paragraph answering the question, why did she write "To My Dear and Loving Husband?"
Tuesday: Complete GD on AB. Students who missed one or both days can wrtie a formal paragraph answering one of the questions we spoke about. Then, read Jonathan Edwards' sermon, "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God,"
Wednesday: Read Cotton Mather's "Wonders of the Invisible World." PDF's are at the top of the page. Then, answer the questions, which are due next school day.
Thursday: Compare answers in groups.
