In In this course students will explore the following questions: what is science fiction? where is science fiction found? who were the progenitors of the genre? who are regarded as the best? what are the sub-genres of science fiction? why do creators choose this genre? what makes certain pieces great, and which are the greatest? To answer these questions, students will read, research, discuss, write, and create original pieces of science fiction.
