The Eddies Judges

Mr. Keith Baker is a graduate of SIUE. He has been an social studies teacher at EHS since 2000. He is a professional adjudicator and visual design judge for Winter Guard International.

Ms. Melissa Beck has been a Spanish teacher at EHS since 2001, whre she has  served as Student Council advisor since 2009. She earned an undergraduate degree from SIUE and a Master's Degree from the University of Illinois.

Mrs. Terri Colby has been working at District 7 since 2003. She currently serves as the bookeeper at EHS. A native of Iowa, she currently resides in Edwardsville with her her husband Dave; they have 2 sons and 2 grandchildren.

Dr. Dennis Cramsey is a graduate of Northeast Missouri State University. He earned his Doctorate degree from SIUE.He has been the Principal at Edwardsville High School where he has been making it "the best day ever" since 2011.

Ms. Cara Lane has been an English teacher at EHS since 2003. She is a graduate of Purdue University, where she studied English with an emphasis film. She has also been the sponsor of the EHS Film Society since 2004.

Mr. Daniel McEvilly graduated from the University of Missouri where he studied English and film. He earned his masters degree in creative writing from Trinity University in Dublin, Ireland. He has been teaching at EHS since 2008. 

Mr. AJ Schnack is a 1986 graduate of Edwardsville High School. He studied journalism at the University of Missouri. An award winning filmmaker, Mr. Schnack's films include Gigantic (A Tale of Two Johns) (2002); Kurt Cobain: Story of a Son (2006); Caucus (2013); We Always Lie to Strangers (2013); Speaking Is Difficult (2016). His films have been recognized at the Philadelphia Film Festival, the SXSW Film Festival, Sundance Film Festival, AFI Festival, the International Documentary Association, and the Traverse City Film Festival. Mr. Schnack currently produces the film blog All the Wonderful Things.

Mr. Brett Stawar has been the Director of the Great Rivers and Roads Tourism Bureau since 2004. He is a graduate of Illinois State University with a Master's Degree from SIUE. Mr. Stawar is also an adjunct Professor of Speech at LCCC.

Ms. Ashley Valenzuela has been an English teacher at EHS since 2015. She is a Student Council advisor, and she is a native of Collinsville and a graduate of SIUE.
